Impact of JLARC Studies

Implementation of the recommendations in JLARC reports may be by legislative action of the General Assembly or by administrative action of executive branch agenices. Both legislative and administrative implementation may result in improved agency operations and savings for State agencies. Savings are currently estimated to be more than $638 million over the past 35 years. The implementation of JLARC recommendations is documented biennially in a Report to the General Assembly (RGA).
