How to Get JLARC Documents
Viewing JLARC documents online is the quickest and easiest way to get a document. Adobe Reader is needed to read and print reports, briefings, fiscal impact reviews and other documents on this site. The Reader is free and can be downloaded by clicking the Get Adobe Reader button in the sidebar to the left. To view a JLARC report on this website in, click the Report link for the study. To download the document instead of viewing it, right click the document link and select Save Target As (or Save Link As) from the menu. When saving a document, be sure to note where you are saving the file on your computer and retain the filename extension used for the file on this site. If a document does not open you may need to upgrade to Version 7.0 or later of the Reader.
JLARC reports, briefings, and other documents are available at no charge. Orders for documents which are out of stock or in short supply cannot be filled. When ordering, please refer to the report title and the number from the report list. Be sure to provide your complete name, address, telephone number, and email so we can contact you if there is a problem with your order. Documents are mailed third class. Express shipping is not available.
To order a report online from this website, select the Online Order Form link for the study on any Publications page. When the online order form is displayed, enter you name, address, phone number, and email, and select up to three reports from the list. Click the Order button when you are finished.
To order a JLARC report by phone, call (804) 786-1258 with your request. Please have the names and report numbers of the reports you are ordering ready when you call.
To order a JLARC report by fax, call (804) 371-0101 with a fax document that includes the reports requested, your name, address, and telephone number.
To order a JLARC report by U.S. mail, send your request to: Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission, 201 North 9th Street, General Assembly Building, Suite 1100, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
How to Search This Site
To search this site using keywords, enter the keywords to search in the "Search site" box at the top of the page, then click the Search icon. Keywords are searched within report indexes and summaries which are standard web pages, as well as reports and briefings which are in Acrobat PDF format. Search results will include links to web pages and PDF documents containing the keywords. The search on this site is powered by the Google Search Appliance.
